{"id":829,"date":"2014-04-03T14:04:00","date_gmt":"2014-04-03T14:04:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/172.21.65.35:8680\/wordpress\/?p=829"},"modified":"2021-05-18T15:03:52","modified_gmt":"2021-05-18T15:03:52","slug":"cardiomyocyte-derived-from-human-ips","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/genetica.incor.usp.br\/?p=829","title":{"rendered":"Cardiomyocyte derived from human iPS"},"content":{"rendered":"Our laboratory is generating human iPS cells (hiPSCs) from patients with Hipertrophic Cardiomyopathy to study the \u201cdisease in a dish\u201d.\n\nhiPSCs were reprogrammed by STEMCCA polycistronic lentivirus using a xeno-free method and differentiated in cardiomyocytes through a small molecules protocol modified from Lian et al., 2012\u2019s work (Nature Protocols).\n\nUsing both protocols we successfully generated human cardiomyocytes.
