Short Bio

Undergraduate student majoring in Biomedical Sciences at the University of São Paulo, Brazil. Works at the Institute of Heart Incor-HCFMUSP as a Fundação Zerbini scholarship recipient (2016-present). She was an international student at the University of Utah during the academic year of 2014-2015, period in which she was a fully-funded CAPES/CNPq scholarship recipient. Tutored a class on Genetics and Evolution, at the Department of Biosciences (2015), PEEG scholarship recipient, and participated in an Academic Training on Physiology and Biophysics (2014). She worked as an undergraduate researcher at the Department of Pharmacology at the University of São Paulo (2012-2014), PIBIC scholarship recipient. (Awards) Best poster presentation in Pharmacology, Institute of Biomedical Sciences, University of Sao Paulo, Brazil (2013); Outstanding student in Microbiology, Institute of Biomedical Sciences, University of Sao Paulo, Brazil (2013).
