Pre Clinical Laboratory
The Experimentation Division of Heart Institute (InCor) centralizes and supports research projects that involve, in part or in full, experiments with animals.
The area of the Laboratory of Genetics and Molecular Cardiology located in the Division is responsible for planning, supervising, acting and monitoring the processes and care of the animal species used in research, aiming their health, well-being and ethical treatment. In addition, in this area, training is developed for researchers regarding handling and procedures performed on animals.
